Nyjah Huston from the USA is one of the best contest street skaters of all time. He has been nominated several times for the illustrious Thrasher Magazine’s Skater of the Year award. Yuto Horigome from Japan is also looking for the Olympic event, to make the most of it at the home town. He had finished as a runner-up to Houston at the World Skate/ SLS World Championships in 2019.

Leticia Bufoni, Nyjah’s best friend from Brazil is also among favorites for clinching the title in the women’s street skating event.

Also, there are some young competitors Pamela Rosa from Brazil, teenager Rayssa Leal, along with Japanese skater Aori Nishimura looking forward to the Olympic 2021 event.
Candy Jacobs of the Netherlands will also be in contention after signing a surprise deal with Tony Hawks Birdhouse skate company.
